ABOUT
TINA
Inspired by my father, I started saving for my first camera at the age of 11. As technology has advanced, so to has my photography medium from darkroom development to a Canon EOS 6D and iPhone, my work is consistently evolving.
After growing up on a family farm in Singleton, I spent time in Sydney studying and nursing followed by living abroad for 3 years. In 1988, I married my husband Guy and moved to a property in Goulburn. Whilst raising 5 children under 6 years, we became involved in our local community through volunteering, education programs and regional art events.
My work embodies the journey of our family and the evolving world around us, portraying the resilience, vulnerability and sensitivity of rural families. Stopping a carload of children to photograph the beautiful sunset to moving stock on the quad bike with my Canon in tow - our friends and family would not recognise me without a camera in my hand!
